Monitoring - Status: Monitoring

Meta has deployed a fix for the issue affecting Instagram media views metrics. We are currently verifying the resolution on our side and backfilling the missing data across Emplifi analytics products.

Incident Details:
The disruption affected Instagram media views metrics for some posts, starting on October 29, 2025. The media views metric was missing for certain posts, impacting related metrics such as impressions and video views. The issue was caused by missing values in Meta’s API response.

Current Actions:
We are monitoring the fix implementation and verifying data integrity. The backfill process for missing metrics is in progress. We will provide a final update once the fix is confirmed and all data has been restored.

Identified - Status: Identified
We have identified the cause of the disruption in Instagram data across Emplifi analytics products. Meta has confirmed that the issue is on their side and is actively working on a fix.

Incident Details:
We have identified an issue affecting Instagram media views metrics for some posts, as of 29th October 2025.
The media views metric is completely missing for certain posts. All related metrics based on media views — such as impressions, video views, etc. — are also impacted. Our investigation indicates that this is a Meta (Instagram) API issue, as the views metric value is missing from their API response.

Current Actions:
Meta has acknowledged the bug, and their engineering team is actively working to resolve it.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as soon as we have additional information or an ETA for the fix.

Monitoring - Since 9:00 AM CET today (October 31, 2025), we have observed no further publishing or engagement failures related to the ongoing, random TikTok profile issue.

While the core issue appears to have resolved itself on the TikTok side, we will keep the status as Monitoring for the remainder of the day to ensure stability.

Oct 31, 09:24 UTC
Update - We are continuing to investigate this issue.
Oct 31, 08:04 UTC
Investigating - We are currently investigating a widespread issue impacting TikTok, which began on October 28, 2025, and is ongoing. This issue does not appear to affect all clients or all connected profiles.

Impact
While most affected TikTok profiles appear to be connected and correctly configured on the client side, the following key functions are failing:

Publishing: Users are unable to post new content.
Engagement: Actions like publishing comments and liking comments are failing.
Data Retrieval: Incoming comments are not being displayed or synchronized.
Profile Renewal: Multiple attempts to renew expired TikTok profiles are failing.

Current Status & Workaround
We believe the root cause is a bug on the TikTok API end, as our systems and client configurations remain unchanged.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will provide an update once we have more information from TikTok or a permanent resolution.

Identified - We are currently experiencing an issue where our integrated Bitly link shortening is temporarily non-functional. Links are not being shortened within our platform.

Impact
Users are unable to use the native link shortening feature for Bitly within our application.

All other core services remain fully operational.

Current Action
Our engineering team is aware of the issue and is working with the highest priority on a fix.

Workaround
In the meantime, please shorten your links externally by using the Bitly website directly or another preferred external shortening service.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and are dedicated to resolving it as quickly as possible. We will post an update as soon as the service is fully restored.
